Jesus gave the Church the Great Commission and through the gospel message and method the Church is growing. It is our desire to partner with churches that desire to see effective bridges built into their communities and the power of God through the gospel renewing individuals, families, churches and cities. In a partnership we find out the vision and unique calling of the pastors, leaders and churches of a global city so that a ministry plan can be developed to bless the city. The strategy is summarized by four key words that represent the stages of what a group of pastors and leaders will experience together.
1. Envisioning through Conversations to challenge thinking. These formal and informal conversations help us share vision and philosophical assumptions so that a mutual partnership can be established. After multiple envisioning conversations happen, we usually have a formal envisioning event so the group of pastors and leaders can all be exposed to the Life on Life Vision and Strategy. A commitment to the process of clinics, leadership communities, coaching and discipling a few people is the requirement for a partnership to be established.
2. Establishing through Clinics, Learning Communities, Coaching and Curriculum to affirm our being as the church and leaders. There are six clinics that take place over the course of two years. These are 2 or 3 day events where key topics are discussed with a focus on practical action steps to see a Life on Life movement happen in and through the leaders, churches and city. The leaders of those churches meet monthly for a “Learning Community” and receive monthly “Leadership Coaching”. We encourage churches to use the Ignition Guide and Journey curriculum which supports the life on life philosophy.
3. Equipping through Coaching to motivate our doing as the church and leaders. Once a team of churches has completed the Establishing Phase they can begin the Envisioning and Establishing of other churches in their city. The Learning Community and Leadership Coaching calls continue as before.
4. Empowering through Certified Centers to stimulate our sharing of the stories with other pastors, leaders and churches in the city. After there is faithfulness and fruitfulness, the hub churches in a city can start envisioning other pastors, leaders and churches in the city.
