Clinic 1: January 4-6, 2015

Clinic 1 is the foundational clinic which we call the Envisioning Stage. This Clinic is focused on your personal understanding of discipleship and Christ as the foundation. Our desire is that Clinic 1 is not simply another conference you attend, take notes and then return to your church without the ability to implement the things you have learned, but rather that you engage, interact with your team, develop a plan and return with practical tools to begin making discipleship a part of the DNA of your church.

We encourage each pastor to bring a team of between 4-6 people and made up of both men and women. There will be time throughout the Clinic in which you will work together as a team to discuss and strategize how discipleship can be best incorporated in your church. Some of the learning topics will include:

Jesus the Ultimate Disciple Maker
Biblical Foundations of Discipleship
The Leadership Model of Christ
The Pastor as a Disciple maker
The 5 Elements of Discipleship as Modeled by Jesus
Spiritual Formation Goal, Pathway and Process
How to Select Disciples like Jesus Selected

Each of these topics, as well as the others, are done in a way that allows for group interaction and discussion.

Following Clinic 1 participants will receive The Ignition Guide, a 12 week tool for each team to use as they work through various topics of discipleship and seek to establish their own discipleship groups.
